Youth Summer Program 2026

For Youth Entering 4th Grade and below:
This summer at the library we are celebrating the gardens and farms that make our food!
Pick up a summer reading and garden journal at the library starting June 27th to keep track of your adventures this summer. Complete 4 different challenges and win an Altitude Trampoline Park Pass!
Complete all 6 for a special 3D printed prize. Earn raffle tickets for completing challenges and for each 7 days of reading.
You’ll also get to decorate your own reading garden with special stickers for each day you read!
Our grand prizes this year include an awesome LEGO set, BarnZ’s Gift Card, and Hilltop Fun Center Mini Golf!
For Youth Entering 5th Grade and up:
Starting June 27th, students entering grades 5 through high school will have the chance to earn Potato Points. Checking out a book, attending a program, or getting a row in bingo can all earn you tickets!
Save up your tickets and redeem them for something off of the Summer Reading Shop cart.
You’ll be able to exchange for prizes like squishmallows, fidgets, squishies, and more! All redeemed tickets will be entered into the Grand Prize Raffle. This year you could win a $25 Target gift card, an after hours party at the library for you and your friends, or a gift basket stacked with all sorts of fidgets, snacks, and more!
Summer Events
Join us every Tuesday at 11:30am for Garden Club, every Wednesday at 2pm for a special open age/elementary program, and every Thursday at 4:30pm for a middle school program (for youth entering grade 5 and up).
